EIC Pre-Accelerator
Funded by the European Innovation Council, July 2026 to June 2028.
Read more →Our models start from patient tissue. Together with clinical partners, we run non-interventional studies that collect residual tumor tissue from standard surgery, with informed consent and ethics approval.

Ongoing
Establishing primary cell models (2D cultures and 3D organoids) from cutaneous melanoma tissue to study the endocannabinoid system in cancer. A prospective, non-interventional study with the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, approved by the Slovenian National Medical Ethics Committee.
In preparation
Establishing and characterizing patient-derived breast cancer models, molecularly and functionally, to study the endocannabinoid system and develop personalized therapeutic approaches. A multicenter, prospective, non-interventional study with the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana and University Medical Centre Maribor, including a biobank of tissue, models and data for future research.
These are non-interventional studies. Participants do not receive treatment as part of these studies.
